Dr. Hafeezur Rehman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mining Engineering at BUITEMS. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mining engineering from UET Peshawar and completed his Master’s and Doctorate at Hanyang University, South Korea. He further pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at the School of Materials and Mineral Resources Engineering, USM, Malaysia. With over 17 years of academic and professional experience, Dr. Rehman has actively contributed to international research projects and has a strong background in both surface and underground excavation. He has worked with national (government and private) and international organizations in the fields of mining and excavation. Dr. Rehman has an impressive research portfolio, having published more than 45 papers in well-reputed international journals over the last five years, primarily focusing on mining and rock engineering.
