TERMS & CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum 2026 (“PMIF26”). By registering for or attending PMIF26, all Participants agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms should be read in conjunction with your registration confirmation, sponsorship agreement, or exhibitor booking form (where applicable).

2. Definitions

Organizer / PMIF / We / Us / Our: The Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum Secretariat, Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), Government of Pakistan, and/or its officially appointed event management, delivery, and technology partners.

Event: Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum 2026 (PMIF26), including strategic conferences, technical sessions, energy conference, policy dialogues, investment roundtables, exhibitions, site visits, networking events, official dinners, virtual or hybrid platforms, and any ancillary activities organized by or on behalf of the Organizer.

Participant / You / Your: Any individual attending PMIF26, including investors, policymakers, regulators, government officials, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, delegates, media representatives, and invited stakeholders.

Sponsor: Any entity entering into a sponsorship agreement with the Organizer.

Exhibitor: Any entity allocated exhibition space or virtual exhibition access under a confirmed package agreement.

Fee: The amount payable to attend, sponsor, present technical paper, or exhibit at PMIF26 as outlined in the relevant registration or booking documentation.

3. Registration and Confirmation

3.1 Registration constitutes an offer to participate in PMIF26 subject to acceptance by the Organizer.

3.2 The Organizer reserves the right to refuse or revoke registration at its discretion.

3.3 Registration details must be accurate and kept updated.

3.4 Participants must be at least 18 years of age unless prior written approval is granted.

4. Attendance & Conduct

4.1 Participants shall comply with all applicable laws of Pakistan and venue regulations.

4.2 Participants must behave in a professional, respectful, and lawful manner.

4.3 The Organizer may remove any Participant whose conduct disrupts the Event or compromises safety, security, or the reputation of PMIF26.

4.4 Participants are responsible for their own travel, visas, insurance, and accommodation.

5. Fees & Payments

5.1 All Fees must be paid in full prior to attendance or participation.

5.2 Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing by the Organizer.

5.3 The Organizer is not responsible for losses arising from third-party fraud or incorrect payment details.

6. Government Compliance & National Regulations

6.1 Participants acknowledge that Pakistan’s minerals sector is a strategic national industry.

6.2 All discussions, data access, partnerships, and investments formed at PMIF26 remain subject to applicable laws, regulations, licensing frameworks, and national security policies of the Government of Pakistan.

6.3 No participation at PMIF26 constitutes a government approval, endorsement, or guarantee of any investment, transaction, or business proposal.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & BRANDING

7.1 All PMIF trademarks, logos, content, and materials are the property of the Organizer or its partners.

7.2 Participants may not use PMIF branding without prior written consent.

7.3 Event materials may only be used for personal or internal business purposes.

8. Data Protection & Privacy

8.1 The Organizer processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws of Pakistan.

8.2 Participant data may be shared with authorized service providers solely for Event administration, security, networking, and operational purposes.

8.3 Participants consent to receiving official PMIF communications related to the Event.

9. Media, Photography & Communications

9.1 The Event may be recorded, photographed, or filmed.

9.2 The Organizer may use images, videos, and recordings for national and international promotion of Pakistan’s minerals sector and future PMIF editions.

9.3 Participants who do not wish to be recorded must notify Event staff in writing prior to the Event.

10. Sponsorship & Exhibition Terms

10.1 Sponsors and Exhibitors must comply with all technical, branding, and material submission guidelines.

10.2 The Organizer does not endorse or verify any commercial, legal, or financial claims made by Sponsors or Exhibitors.

10.3 Participants are responsible for conducting their own due diligence on any investment or business opportunity presented at PMIF26.

11. Event Changes & Force Majeure

11.1 The Organizer may modify, postpone, or cancel the Event due to circumstances beyond its control, including government directives, national security advisories, natural disasters, public health emergencies, or international travel restrictions.

11.2 In such cases, the Organizer may offer rescheduling or credit at its discretion.

11.3 The Organizer shall not be liable for additional costs incurred by Participants due to such changes.

12. Liability & Disclaimers

12.1 Participation in PMIF26 is at the Participant’s own risk.

12.2 The Organizer shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12.3 The Organizer’s total liability shall not exceed the Fees paid by the Participant.

13. Sanctions, Trade Controls & Ethics

13.1 Participants must comply with applicable international sanctions, trade regulations, and ethical business practices.

13.2 Participants confirm they are not subject to any restrictions that prohibit their attendance or engagement at PMIF26.

14. Termination & Substitution

14.1 The Organizer may terminate participation without refund if these Terms are breached.

14.2 Substitution of Participants is permitted with prior written approval.

14.3 Termination does not affect rights or obligations accrued prior to termination.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

15.1 These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

15.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan.

15.3 The Organizer and Participants may mutually agree to arbitration for dispute resolution where appropriate.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any registration forms, sponsorship agreements, or exhibitor contracts, constitute the entire agreement between the Participant and the Organizer regarding PMIF26.
